We are so excited to welcome you to the idyllic Hudson Valley for our wedding. Buttermilk Falls Inn sits on 75 acres overlooking the river. The lush grounds have a rich history dating back to the 1700's and is full of character from the main house to the Riverfront patio where we will be hosting our reception.
The property also boasts a small farm including a garden, orchard, and beehives which contribute organic herbs, vegetables, fruit, and honey for use in the onsite restaurant. Millstone Farm is also home to a livestock barn servings as an animal sanctuary for goats, llamas, miniature donkeys, and a heard of alpacas. Further, an aviary can be found tucked behind the event barn where one can find a flock of chickens providing eggs for breakfasts as well as a party of peacocks.

Buttermilk Falls Inn is centrally located about 90 minutes North of Manhattan and South of Albany, New York. The closest airports are New York Stewart International (SWF) about 30 minutes South and Albany International (ALB) at approximately an hour and a half North.
For guests traveling from Connecticut, the site is most easily accessed via I-84 West. There is ample parking available on the property. Additionally, the MTA Metro North Hudson Line is available from Grand Central Station into Poughkeepsie, NY with the nearest station approximately 6 miles from the venue.
At this time we have not organized group transportation but we will be evaluating options to ensure a fun and safe evening. Individual alternative transportation such as Uber and Lyft are typically readily available in the area.
